====== Parameter entry ======

An entry acts as a container of [[Parameter_value|values]] for a specific [[Parameter_instance|instance]] and [[Dependencies_(Parameter_database)|dependency]]. A parameter entry can also hold a probability density function ([[PDF|PDF]]).

In a table showing all values of a parameter instance, an entry corresponds to a row.

===== Example =====

The parameter //Length// is used to collect the length of different individuals in different countries. The design of the database has [[Parameter_definition|defined]] //Length// to [[Dependencies_(Parameter_database)|depend]] on //Country// and //Age group//.

An instance of //Length// is tagged “Literature review”, and for the entry //LengthCosta Rica// the following [[Parameter_value|values]] have been found: mean, standard deviation and N.
