====== Parameter value ======

A parameter value is any type statistics or quantity that can be assigned to a [[Parameter_entry|Parameter entry]]. Parameter values can be used as arguments to a [[PDF|PDF]].

|Numeric   |The most common type, used for statistics such as best estimate, number of samples, mean value etc.                 |
|Boolean   |Can be used as a PDF argument; for instance the "In order" argument of the pg (pre-generated) distribution.         |
|String    |Can be used as a string argument to a function.                                                                     |
|Collection|Used for time series (x vs. y) and as arguments to PDFs. Different types of collections exist: lists, sets and maps.|
