====== Tutorial 2 - Running a simulation ======

In this lesson we will set start and end time, select simulation outputs and run a simulation.

**Simulation settings**

  - Click the {{:SimulationSettings24.png|Simulation Settings}} button in the [[Menu_bar#Toolbar|toolbar]] or select **Simulation | Simulation Settings** from the [[Menu_bar|Menu bar]].
  - Make sure that the **General** tab is selected. Set the **Time unit** to //Days// and the **End time** to 100.
  - Select the **Outputs** tab
  - Select all the [[Block|blocks]] of the model, including the [[Transfer|transfers]].
  - Click **Ok** to close the window.

**Running a simulation**

  - Click the {{:ChartView24.png}}**Simulation** button on the [[Menu_bar#Toolbar|toolbar]].
  - Click the {{:RunAll24.png|Run}} button on the [[Menu_bar#Toolbar|toolbar]] to start the simulation.
  - When the simulation has finished, the [[Results_window|Results window]] should list the blocks that you selected to be simulation outputs above.
