  - Create two [[Parameter|parameters]] and assign them the values 10 and 4 respectively.
  - Create an [[Expression|expression]].
  - Edit the [[Expression|expression]], select the **Values** page and click on the default row of the table. The [[Expression_editing_tool|expression editing tool]] should appear underneath the table.
  - In **Functions** box of the editing tool, open the **Imported** node. You should find your function **my_add** here.
  - Enter the value “my_add(Parameter1,Parameter2)” in the default row of the table.
  - Close the window by clicking ok.
  - Run a simulation and investigate the output result for the expression. If you have completed all steps properly, the result should be 14.
