The Ecolego Model Library page provides a way of downloading readymade libraries of models developed with Ecolego and the Ecolego Player, which can be used both by Ecolego users and those who do not have an Ecolego license (through Ecolego Player). When the models are run with the Ecolego Player, it is possible to change parameter values and add/remove materials; but the mathematical formulation of the models is locked.

The models are organized into different categories, which should facilitate for the user to find models of interest. A search functionality is also available that serves the same purpose. A distinction is made between models supported by Facilia and those that are not. For the former Facilia has performed quality controls and will periodically provide upgraded versions. The latest are models that have been uploaded by users and that Facilia has not upgraded yet to the category of supported models.

Users are encouraged to upload their own models, these could be completely new models or modifications of models already available at the site.
