Atmosphere Model

A model for the atmosphere covering the landscape. Only one atmoshere model is used for the entire landscape.

Inputs

  • Diffusion_downwards: (Organic model only) The total rate of contaminants leaving the atmosphere via diffusion. Given by the freshwater model, soil model and some plant models.
  • Diffusion_upwards: (Organic model only) The total rate of contaminants entering the atmosphere via diffusion. Given by the freshwater model, soil model and some plant models.

Outputs

  • C_air: The concentration of contaminants in the atmoshpere. Used by the body model (for inhalation).
  • C_gas_atm: (Organic model only) The concentration of contaminants in gaseous atmosphere. Used by the freshwater, soil and some plant models.
  • Deposition_dry_aero_per_m2: The rate of dry aerosol deposition. Used by the freshwater, soil and plant models.
  • Deposition_wet_aero_per_m2: The rate of wet aerosol deposition. Used by the freshwater, soil and plant models.
  • Deposition_wet_gas_per_m2: (Organic model only) The rate of wet gas deposition. Used by the freshwater and soil models.
  • Rain: The precipitation rate. Used by the freshwater, soil and plant.
