Leaf Model

Model for leafy vegetables. You need to add one leaf model for each type of vegetable. This model can be used together with a soil model, freshwater model and an atmosphere model.

Inputs

  • Irrigation_rate_per_m2: The contribution from irrigation, per square meter. Given by the soil model.
  • Q_soil: The total quantity in the root zone of soil. Given by the soil model.
  • h_root: The height of the root zone. Given by the soil model.
  • rho_soil_dry: The dry density of the soil. Given by the soil model.
  • Deposition_dry_aero_per_m2: The rate of dry aerosol deposition per square meter. Given by the atmosphere model.
  • Deposition_wet_aero_per_m2: The rate of wet aerosol deposition per square meter. Given by the atmosphere model.

Outputs

  • Deposition_dry_aero_intercepted: The rate of dry aerosol deposition intercepted by the plants. Used by the soil model.
  • Deposition_wet_aero_intercepted: The rate of wet aerosol deposition intercepted by the plants. Used by the soil model.
  • Q_ing_rate: The ingestion rate from ingestion of the vegetable. Used by the body model.
  • S_field: The surface area of the vegetable field. Used by the soil model.
  • Irrigation_rate_intercepted: The rate of soil contamination due to irrigation intercepted by the plant. Used by the soil model.
  • cultivation_time: A flag indicating when the plant is growing. Used by the soil model.
